VAF3 - VAF Signal From VAF Meter

- Key OFF.

- Access the VAF measuring vane.

- Disconnect the VAF connector.

- Jumper the VREF and SIGRTN terminals between the harness connector and the VAF meter.

- Key ON.

- Measure the voltage between the VAF terminal (at the VAF meter) and the SIGRTN wire (at the harness connector).

- Compare the voltage readings with the Data Sheet while moving the measuring vane. VAF Voltage Data

- Are the voltages OK?

Yes -- Service the VAF sensor VAF wire to the PCM.

No -- Go to VAF4. VAF4 - VREF at VAF Meter
