REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Discharge and recover A/C system refrigerant.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Using A/C spring lock coupling disconnect tool No. T84L-19623-B or equivalent, disconnect evaporator inlet and outlet line spring lock couplings inside engine compartment.
4. Remove one plastic rivet and four righthand instrument trim panel attaching screws, then remove trim panel.
5. Remove heater unit to righthand register duct.
6. Disconnect blower motor, blower motor resistor and blower case door actuator electrical connectors.
7. Remove five evaporator blower assembly attaching bolts, then remove assembly.
8. Remove seven evaporator blower assembly screws, then separate case halves.
9. Remove evaporator core.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
