Idle Up Control Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the Fast Idle Control
(FIC) solenoid electrical connector.
2.
Remove the FIC
solenoid from the IAC-FIC valve assembly.
3.
Remove the copper washer from the FIC
solenoid. Discard the copper washer.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install a new copper washer on the FIC
solenoid, then screw the FIC solenoid into the IAC-FIC assembly.
2.
Connect the FIC
solenoid electrical connector.
