Without (NGS) Scan Tool

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector.
2. Make sure that resistance between terminals b and c changes when opening throttle valve manually.
3. Loosen, but do not remove screws. Adjust TPS to 1000 ohms with throttle closed. Tighten screws.

Accelerator pedal conditions resistance (ohms)
Completely released Approximately 1000 ohms
While moving (smoothly) 1000 - 10,000 ohms
Completely depressed Approximately 10,000 ohms
