Engine Control Module: Description and Operation
Powertrain Control Module (PCM):
PURPOSE The
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives signals from various sensors and switches. Then it processes these signals in relation to the data stored in the memory, and sends signals to the actuators to control driveability and fuel economy and to optimize emissions.
