Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.





The illustration shows the location of the passive restraint control module.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the storage bin from the control console.
3. Remove the LH instrument panel lower cover and RH instrument panel lower cover from the control console.





4. Remove the two passive restraint control module screws.





5. Disconnect the passive restraint control module electrical connectors.
6. Remove the passive restraint control module.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
