EATC System Functional Test

INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION
1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the electronic automatic temperature control to duplicate the concern.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
^ Vacuum hose damage.
^ A/C system refrigerant.
^ Damaged drive belt.
^ Blown fuses.
^ Electrical circuit misrouted or damaged.
^ Electrical connectors damaged or disconnected.
3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, perform the EATC On-Board Self Diagnostics Test. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
