621, 622, 641-Solenoid Circuit Failures
645, 646, 647, 648-Gear Ratio Failures

CAUTION: To properly diagnose an AX4N transaxle, the Transmission Tester (OO7-0085C) must have been updated for AX4N compatibility. This update includes internal software and related components and a new cable and overlay. Inspect your tester for the "AX4N compatible" label located near the tester's cable connector. If the label is missing, do not use the tester to diagnose the AX4N transaxle. Contact Rotunda Equipment or Hickok Electrical for information on how to have the tester updated.

This Pinpoint Test is designed to diagnose the shift solenoid electrical system ONLY. To prevent replacement of good components, note that the following areas may be at fault:
- Engine - Performance, cooling, brakes
- Electrical - Battery, input sensors, wiring harnesses
- Transaxle - Internal transaxle components, linkage, cooling

This Pinpoint Test is designed to diagnose the following components:
- Transmission Wiring Harness, SS1, SS2, VPWR, SS3
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
