Oil Level Warning Indicator Relay: Description and Operation

The low oil level relay:
1. Controls the low oil level warning indicator.
2. Is provided with a signal by a float-type low oil level sensor mounted to the side of the engine oil pan.
3. Contains a reset delay feature which requires approximately five minutes to reset after the low oil level warning indicator comes on from low oil level.
