Center Radiator Sensor

REMOVAL





NOTE: To service stripped center radiator primary crash sensor retaining screw at center radiator primary crash front air bag sensor and bracket (14B005), use screw (Part No. N802455-8190). Tighten to 13-17 Nm (10-12 lb ft).

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Wait one minute for back-up power supply energy to be depleted.
3. Remove radiator upper sight shield.
4. Disconnect center radiator primary crash sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove four screws retaining center radiator primary crash front air bag sensor and bracket to radiator support. Remove center radiator primary crash front air bag sensor and bracket from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Position center radiator primary crash front air bag sensor and bracket with arrow on top pointing toward front of vehicle and secure to radiator support with four screws. Tighten screws to 6.8-9.2 Nm (60-81 lb in).
2. Connect center radiator primary crash sensor wire lead connector to wiring assembly connector.
3. Install radiator upper sight shield.
4. Reconnect negative battery cable.
5. Prove out air bag system.
