Fuel Filter: Service and Repair



REMOVAL
1. Relieve the fuel system pressure.



2. Loosen the fuel filter upper hose clamp.

NOTE: Plug the fuel hoses after disconnecting them from the fuel filter to prevent fuel system contamination and leakage.

3. Remove the fuel filter upper hose from the fuel filter.
4. Loosen the fuel filter lower hose clamp.
5. Remove the fuel filter lower hose from the fuel filter.
6. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter bracket.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Ensure that the fuel filter is installed with the fuel flow direction arrow facing up.
