Diagnostic Test Mode Results

FUNCTIONS AVAILABLE ON ELECTRONIC ENGINE CONTROL

From the Main Menu, select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK, and then select PCM - POWERTRAIN CTRL MODULE from the sub-menu. Electronic Engine Control test procedure descriptions follow, starting with Screen Display "A".







1. In the Mode Select Screen, highlight DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE RESULTS and press TRIGGER.






2. Screen Display "A" will appear if there are no failures and a pass code will appear on the left side of the screen display. If there is a failure, (for example Engine Coolant Temperature sensor failure), Screen Display "B" will appear instead.
Press the CLEAR key (number 4) to clear the stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), or press the PRINT key (number 7) to print them out.
Press CANCEL to get out of this function. After CANCEL is pressed, the mode select screen will appear again and other diagnostic tests can be selected.
