REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
2. Disconnect the speedometer cable from the VSS.
3. Remove the VSS bolt.
4. Gently pry out the VSS. Discard the O-ring.

INSTALLATION
1. Install a new O-ring on the VSS.
2. Carefully push the VSS into the transaxle until fully seated.
3. Install and tighten the VSS bolt to 8-12 Nm (69-104 lb in).
4. Connect the VSS electrical connector.
5. Connect the speedometer cable to the VSS.
