Service Procedure

1. Remove the door pull panel and window/door lock control switch assembly from the driver's door panel (Figure 1).

2. Remove the four (4) attaching screws that hold the window switch to the pull panel and replace the switch with the new Front Window Switch (F7XZ-14529-AAA).

3. Remove both front door trim panels by referring to the appropriate Villager Service Manual, Section 01-05, for details.





4. On both front doors, adjust the lock rod linkage bellcrank to the middle of the adjustment slot (Figure 2).

5. For vehicles without anti-theft, reverse Steps 1-4 to reassemble the doors and proceed to the Power Lock Signal and Wiring Check Procedure. Vehicles with anti-theft require completion of the following Anti-Theft Vehicle Waterproofing Procedure before proceeding.
