Load Compensator: Testing and Inspection
1. Check the length of the spring on the brake load sensor proportioning valve. Adjust if necessary.2. Remove the wheel cylinder bleeder screws from either the left front disc brake caliper and left rear wheel cylinder, or from the right front disc brake caliper and right rear wheel cylinder.
3. Connect Proportioning Valve Gauge Set T92C-20215-AH and Front Adapter T93P-20215-A2 to the front disc brake caliper, and Rear Adapter T93P-20215-A1 to the rear wheel cylinder as shown.

4. Bleed the air from the pressure gauges.
5. Press the brake pedal until the front brake fluid pressure is 5884 kPa (853 psi). Hold the brake pedal in that position and read the rear brake fluid pressure.
a. The rear brake fluid pressure is within specification if it is 3296-5688 kPa (478-825 psi).
b. If the rear brake fluid pressure is not within specification, Replace the brake load sensor proportioning valve.
6. Press the brake pedal until the front brake fluid pressure is 11770 kPa (1707 psi). Hold the brake pedal in that position and read the rear brake fluid pressure.
a. The rear brake fluid pressure is within specification if it is 5613-7336 kPa (814-1064 psi).
b. If the rear brake fluid is not within specification, Replace the brake load sensor proportioning valve.
7. Bleed the air from the brake system. Refer to Brake Bleeding.
