Tightening Specification
Method 1
Step 1 Apply a light coating of oil to mounting gasket.
Step 2 Install filter until gasket contacts mounting surface.
Step 3 Tighten an additional 3/4 turn (270°).

Method 2
Step 1 Apply a light coating of oil to mounting gasket.
Step 2 Tighten to 8-9 Nm (71-79 inch lbs.).
Step 3 Tighten an additional 40-50°.
