Channel Plate: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove five Teflon seal rings and No.5 thrust washer. Discard seal rings.
2. Clamp driven sprocket support vertically in a soft-jawed vise.





3. Remove driven sprocket bearing if necessary using Bearing Remover T94P-77001-KH and Impact Slide Hammer T50T-100-A.





ASSEMBLY
1. If removed, press driven sprocket bearing using an Arbor Press, Stator and Driven Sprocket Bearing Replacer T86P-70043-B, and Driver Handle T80T-4000-W.

Seal Ring Installation:

2. Install No. 5 thrust washer to driven sprocket support. Use petroleum jelly to hold washer in place. Install five new Teflon seal rings.

CAUTION: Seal rings must be installed correctly.
