Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Detach the speed control cable from the engine cover.







2. Detach the intake air resonator.







3. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body cam.







4. Remove the speed control cable from the throttle bracket.
1 Detach the cable from the throttle bracket.
2 Push the retaining clip from the throttle bracket and pull the cable out.







5. Disconnect the speed control actuator electrical connector.







6. Remove the speed control actuator bolt.







7. Detach the speed control actuator.







8. Remove the speed control cable cap from the speed control actuator.
1 Depress and hold the locking clip.
2 Turn the cap counterclockwise.







9. Remove the speed control cable from the speed control actuator pulley.
1 Release the cable locking spring.
2 Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.

INSTALLATION







1. To Install, reverse the removal procedure.
