Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
1. Disconnect the intake air bypass tube.
2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

2. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove the mass air flow sensor.
^ Discard the mass air flow sensor gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install a new mass air flow sensor gasket.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
