Main Climate Control

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the ashtray/cup holder assembly.
1 Release the two locking tabs.
2 Remove the ashtray/cup holder assembly.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







3. Remove the console cover.
1 Remove the four pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the console cover.







4. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
^ Disconnect the cigarette lighter electrical connector.







5. Remove the control head
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the control head.

NOTE: Electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) shown, manual similar.







6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

NOTE: EATC shown, manual similar.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
