Computers and Control Systems: Description and Operation
The electronic Engine Controls (EEC) system consists of a Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection (SFI) system classified as a multi-point, pulse time, mass air flow fuel injection system. The system is used to control fuel economy, engine driveability, and optimize emissions.The electronic engine controls system consists of the following components:
