Alternator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Release the tension and remove the accessory drive belt from the generator pulley.







3. Remove the pin-type retainer and release the wiring harness from the generator bracket.







4. Remove the nut and disconnect the generator electrical connectors.
^ Position the cover aside.







5. Remove the bolts and the generator bracket.







6. Loosen the bolts and remove the generator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
