Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION:
^ Spark plug wires must be connected to the correct ignition coil terminal.
^ When removing the spark plug wire, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.

1. Remove the ignition coil.







2. Disconnect the spark plug wire at the spark plug.
3. Open the spark plug wire separators and remove the spark plug wire.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Apply silicone brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to the inside of spark plug and ignition coil boots of the spark plug wire.
