Pinpoint Test A: No Communication With the DEM

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

Normal Operation
The DEM receives a 12-volt input from the SJB from mini-fuse 19 (10A) through circuit 972 (BK/WH). Ground is provided through circuit 570 (BK).

Possible Causes
^ SJB mini-fuse 19 (10A).
^ Circuitry.
- circuit 972 (BK/WH)
- circuit 570a (BK)
^ DEM.
^ CAN communication network.
