Removal and Installation

1. Remove the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister. For additional information, refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Evaporative Emission Canister.

2. Depress the locking tab outward, rotate the EVAP canister vent solenoid clockwise and remove it from the dust separator.
- Apply clean engine oil to the EVAP canister vent solenoid O-ring seal upon installation.





3. Release the 3 retaining tabs and remove the dust separator.





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
