Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor













Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.

2. Remove the Throttle Body (TB). For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.

3. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.

4. Using a tool like KD Tool #58181 or Lisle T25 Torx Bit, remove the screw and the MAP sensor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

5. NOTE: Lubricate the MAP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
