Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Expansion Valve

Draw off, evacuate and fill A/C system.







Remove bolts (1) and release air conditioning pipes.
Tightening torque 7.5 Nm.

Install hint:
Replace O-rings.







Remove bolts (1) and remove adaptor block.
Tightening torque 6 Nm.

Install hint:
Replace O-rings.







Remove screws (1).
Remove cover panel (2).







Release expansion valve from evaporator pipes in direction of arrow (1) towards engine compartment and remove expansion valve in direction of arrow 2.

Install hint:
Replace O-rings.
