Cylinder Head Gasket



the head gasket is constructed from three layers of sheet metal and is termed as a "multi layered steel gasket". Four small rivets on the outer edge of the gasket hold the three layers together. the head gasket contains an oil restrictor that controls the oil flow to the cylinder head.

the standard thickness of the gasket is 0.065 mm with a thicker (.095 mm) available.
