Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair



51 33 000 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Power Window Unit In Left Or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front door window glass
- Remove treble speaker in front door







Remove plugs (1).
Unfasten screws (2).

1AZ Power window unit to inner door panel 3 Nm







Release screws (1).

2AZ Power window unit rail to door (top)
M6 x 10 7 Nm

Unfasten screws (2).

3AZ Power window unit rail to door (bottom)
M6 x 20 7 Nm

Unhook cables from clips (3 and 4).







Move front power window rail to expose power window motor.
Detach plug connection (1) from power window motor.
Remove power window unit from front door.

Installation: Initialize power window.

Replacement:
Remove flat motor for power window unit.
