Replacing One Front Pulse Generator

34 52 525 - Replacing one front pulse generator





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove wheel Removing or Installing Front or Rear Wheel.





Release screw (1) and remove wheel speed sensor from housing.

Installation:
Tightening torque, 34 51 4AZ 34 51 Slip Control System (ABS, ASC+T, DSC).

Detach cable from retaining clip on McPherson strut (2).

Detach cable from retaining clip on chassis subframe (3).





Release cable from retaining clip (1).
Unfasten plug connection (2).

Installation Note:
Make sure that the plug connection is correctly engaged and the rubber grommet correctly sealed.





Installation:
Clean bore hole for pulse generator and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease (refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids).
