Door Sensor Fault Codes 80 and/or 82 in MRS

Vehicles produced January 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006.

SITUATION
The customer complains that the airbag warning lamp is illuminated and fault code 80/82 (Airbag sensor, door front, left/right) is stored in the MRS5K (Multiple Restraint System control module).

CAUSE
Software error

[NEW] CORRECTION
Carry out any related test modules using DISPlus/GT1. If no other fault can be found, replace both driver and passenger door pressure sensors with updated parts.
