SUBJECT
Rear Windows Fail when Convertible Top is Operated

MODEL
R52 (Cooper Convertible) produced up to 10/2006

SITUATION
One or both of the rear quarter windows may not operate properly when opening or closing the convertible top.

CAUSE
This condition is caused by a software error in the coding of the Body Control Module (BC1).

CORRECTION
An update in Progman V23.02 will correct this problem.

PROCEDURE

^ Do not replace any parts.

^ Code the BC1 using Progman V23.02 or later.
