51 71 360 - Removing and installing/replacing seal for rear lid





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Open loading aid





Detach seal (1) from rear lid cutout.

Installation:
Start fitting in area of filler elements (2).
Make sure filler elements (2) are correctly seated on tail panel studs.
Drain hole of seal in middle on rear lid cutout must not be clogged.





Note:
Seal (1) runs under convertible top up to B-pillar.

Detach seal (1) on left and right from body.

Installation:
Make sure seal (1) is correctly seated on body and all trim panel parts.
