63 12 862 - Replacing control unit for left or right xenon headlight





Warning!
Version with xenon headlights: Danger to life due to high voltage! Therefore disconnect all components from voltage supply before removal.
Work on the entire xenon lighting system (control unit, ignition unit with lamp) may only be carried out by specialist personnel.





Up to 07/04:
Release screws (1) and fold down control unit holder.





From 07/04:
Release screws (1) and fold down control unit holder (2).





All:
Release screws (1).
Detach control unit for xenon headlight from control unit holder.

Installation Note:
Make sure associated plug connection of control unit for xenon headlight is correctly seated.
