Fluid Filter - CVT: Service and Repair

24 31 151 - Removing and installing/replacing transmission fluid strainer





Note:
After completing operation, check transmission fluid level and if necessary top up transmission fluid. Service and Repair





Important!
Use only the approved automatic transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Remove transmission fluid sump Service and Repair.
Pull transmission fluid strainer away in order to remove from valve block.

Installation:
Make sure fluid strainer is correctly positioned on valve block.





Remove magnet from position (1).
Clean solenoid.
Replace fluid strainer and insert magnet.
Lubricate sealing ring (2) with clean ATF.

Installation Note:
Make sure magnet is correctly positioned on fluid strainer.
