Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Intake Air Manifold (COOPER S)

Disconnect battery.

Remove intake filter housing.

Remove throttle assembly.

Remove injector rail.

Remove engine vent control valve.





Remove recirculating valve hose clip (1) and disconnect hose.

Disconnect knock sensor connector and unclip from manifold.

Disconnect air inlet sensor on manifold.

Disconnect top tank venting valve pipe.





Disconnect TMAP sensor connector.

Remove manifold nuts (5-1) and remove manifold.

Replace gasket.

Install hint:
Tighten nuts up in sequence (1-5).
Intake manifold to cylinder head
M8 26 Nm
