SUBJECT
Progman Requests DSC Enabling Code (FSC) during Programming, Coding or Retrofit

MODEL
R55 (Cooper S Clubman JCW)

R56 (Cooper S JCW)

SITUATION
Progman V30.0.2 prompts the importing of an enabling code for the Dynamic Stability Control Module (DSC) during any programming, coding or retrofit procedure.

CAUSE
Software error related to Progman V30.0.2

PROCEDURE
The prompt can be ignored, since the DSC function is not changed. After programming, perform a functional check of the DSC/DTC switch. Proper system function is confirmed by the illumination of the DTC lamp in the instrument cluster.
