Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

12 14 537 Replacing Pulse Generator On Inlet Camshaft (N14)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Check stored fault messages

Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Release screw and remove pulse generator (2).

Installation:
Replace sealing ring and coat with antiseize agent.
Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ.

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
