Replacing Rear Axle Carrier

33 31 011 - Replacing rear axle carrier

Note:
When replacing side member or cross-member:
Replace self-tapping screws for mounting rear axle carrier on side member/cross-member.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear axle carrier

Picture shows: R56, R55

Installation:
Use previous rear axle carrier as a template for modifying or replacing small parts.

After installation:
- Bleed braking system
- Perform chassis alignment check
