Trailer Hitch Control Module: Service and Repair

61 35 001 Removing And Installing Trailer Module

IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary work:
- Partially remove luggage compartment wheel arch panel on left

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unlock trailer module (2) in area (3) and remove.

Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/encoding.
