11 12 719 Resurfacing Cylinder Head Sealing Face (N16)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove cylinder head.
- Remove exhaust camshaft.
- Remove intermediate lever on intake side.







Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straightedge (1).

NOTE:
Max. deviation from flatness (longitudinal) 0.10 mm

Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straightedge (1).

NOTE:
Max. deviation from flatness (transverse) 0.05 mm
Picture show N43.







Check cylinder head for watertightness.
Assemble engine.
