12 14 523 Replacing Inlet Camshaft Pulse Generator

12 14 523 Replacing pulse sensor on intake camshaft (N12, N16)

Necessary preliminary work:
- Switch off ignition.
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
- Check stored fault messages.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Loosen the screw and remove the pulse sensor (2).

Installation note:
Replace sealing ring and coat with lubricant.
Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ.

NOTE: Delete fault memory.
