Inspection Procedure

Immerse the fuel temperature sensor and a thermometer in water, and heat or cool the water as needed to the specified temperatures.

CAUTION:

The fuel temperature sensor and the thermostat must not contact the surfaces of the container, and the water must be stirred to obtain an even temperature. Take a reading with an ohmmeter at the specified temperatures.
