The 1983 Cordia/Tredia Service Manual has been updated to reflect changes in the Cruise Control System. Please place these stickers on top of pages 8-18, 8-45, 8-90, 8-102, and 8-163. Place one sticker on the Cruise Control wiring diagram inside the back cover of the manual.
The Cruise Control System of 1983 Cordia/Tredia models has been modified for improved performance.
The vacuum tank and tee for automatic transaxle units have been eliminated and a vacuum pump, vacuum switch, and vacuum relay have been added to the system. These new components are serviced as assemblies only. They are not repairable. A table of specifications, a troubleshooting chart, updated wiring diagrams and component illustrations are included in this bulletin to aid in diagnosis and repair of the cruise control system.
