Diesel-powered 1984 truck models are equipped with a super Quick Glow (TM) Starting System. The glow plugs used with the 1984 system are different in specifications from those used in 1983 and the electrical circuitry has been revised.
This Bulletin is issued to correct the 1984 Truck System Manual with respect to the new Super Quick Glow (TM) Starting System. Please attach orange labels to the tops of pages 8-4, 8-27, 8-28, 8-83, and 8-84 of the 1984 Truck Service Manual as reference to this bulletin.

In the table entitted Glow System-4D55 Engine, please revise the glow plug specifications as indicated below.
