DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE The dual engine stabilizers of 1,8L and 2.0L engines have been modified. This change entered production early in May, 1984, effective with engine number CL7739.

Three changes were made:
1. In the front journal of the right stabilizer shaft, the existing oil groove was made deeper.
2. The length of both stabilizer shafts was increased.
3. In the rear journals of both left and right stabilizer shafts, new oil channels, cast into the shafts, were added, (These channels extend only part way around the journals.) These changes are illustrated in Figure 1.
PARTS INTERCHANGEABILITY The new stabilizer shafts are interchangeable with earlier ones, and part numbers are unchanged
