The control relay is mounted on top of the ECU.
1. Test continuity between terminals 1 and 7 and between terminals 3 and 7, Fig. 36. If there is no continuity, replace relay.
2. Apply 12 volts across terminals 4 and 8 while testing continuity between terminals 3 and 7, Fig. 37. If there is no continuity, replace relay.
3. Apply 12 volts across terminals 4 and 6 while testing continuity between terminals 1 and 7. If there is no continuity, replace relay.
4. Apply 12 volts across terminals 2 and 5 while testing continuity between terminals 1 and 7. If there is no continuity, replace relay.
