Intermediate Harness Installation

1. Turn on the radio and write down the radio station presets.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.

3. Locate the Electronic Control Unit and pull it down (Truck-Figure 23, Montero-Figure 24).

4. Disconnect the smaller of the two connectors at the Electronic Control Unit.

5. Install the intermediate Harness to the Electronic Control Unit (Figure 25).

6. Bind the connector and harness together (Figure 26-Truck: Figure 27-Montero).

NOTE:
Cable band must bind the connector and harness together.

7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

8. Reset the radio station presets.
