Intermediate Harness Installation

1. Turn on the radio and write down the station presets.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.





Automatic Transaxle Models

3. Remove the right kick panel. Disconnect the two connectors at the Electronic Control Unit.

4. Install the Intermediate Harness to Electronic Control Unit (Figure 34).





5. Secure the modulator with the heater motor harness clip (Figure 35).

6. Carefully route the Intermediate Harness connector behind the blower motor case assembly. Secure with the adhesive tape strips supplied in the parts kit.

7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

8. Reset the radio station presets.

9. Proceed to label installation procedure shown on the following page.





Manual Transaxle Models

3. Disconnect the smaller of the two connectors at the Electronic Control Unit.

4. Install the Intermediate Harness to Electronic Control Unit (Figure 36).





5. Carefully route the Intermediate Harness behind the blower motor case assembly (Figure 37). Secure with the adhesive tape strips supplied in the parts kit.

6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

7. Reset the radio station presets.

8. Proceed to label installation.
