Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

On models with automatic transaxle, the switch detects whether the select lever is currently positioned in Neutral or Park. Based on this signal, the ECU senses the automatic transaxle load and drives the ISC servo to keep optimum idle speed.
